Michelle Chimienti M.Sc., Reg. CASLPO, SLP (C)
Michelle Chimienti is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 25 years of working with preschool and school age children. She is a registered member of the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She has worked in many environments, from private practice to schools. Michelle supports many areas for children, including articulation/motor speech difficulties, language disorders, and has a special interest and training in literacy development. She has received Orton-Gillingham training (Classroom Educator Level) and has been trained in Hanen® It Takes Two to Talk® and Target Word® , TalkAbility™, Learning Language and Loving It™ and ABC and Beyond™. Michelle is also skilled in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) while supporting a total-communication approach.

Katie George is a skilled clinician with nearly 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. Having graduated with an Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Western University, she began her career working in an Augmentative Communication Clinic, supporting children, youth and adults with diverse physical abilities with their writing needs.
Katie later transitioned to a role at KidsAbility, supporting young children and their families, helping children realize their potential. Specialized training in Writing Skills, Sensory Processing, PECS, Autism, Therapeutic Listening, Solution-Focused Coaching and Neuro-Developmental Treatment are just a few areas that Katie has pursued.
Working with clients and their families to establish goals that are meaningful to them is at the heart of the work she does. Utilizing a family and client-centered approach, supports addressed include picky eating; self-care skill development; self-regulation; attention; social skills; executive functioning and school-readiness skills.

With over 10 years experience as an Occupational therapist working with adult clients from young adults to geriatrics, Nicole has worked with individuals with a wide range of health conditions in community and long term care settings. She is particularly interested in supporting clients to maintain their independence with mobility and daily activities. Nicole has experience prescribing mobility aids including walkers, manual wheelchairs, and power wheelchairs, including high tech power devices. She really loves working with clients to find the strategies and equipment that will maximize their independence and quality of life.
